BEHIND THE NUMBERS
IMPACT STORY / 01Our adopted school. Our continuing commitment.
EDUCATION · COMPLETED HANDOVERMore than books.
More than books.
A fairer chance.
Grade 9 learners at Karakuta Primary School had spent the year without the curriculum books they needed.
Members, friends and supporters came together through our Annual Kieni Gakoe Forest Hike to fund the purchase and handover of 90 new CBC books.
This is one chapter in a longer relationship with our adopted school. WASH improvements, solar solutions and mental health support for teachers, learners and parents are being developed as the next areas of commitment.
Based on the club’s final impact story, 5 October 2026.
